As the summertime winds to a close, Nicole Richie was spotted taking advantage of the fine weather as she spent a little quality duration with Joel Madden on Friday afternoon (September 5).

The cute couple stopped to get frozen yogurt and soda at a deli in the Beverly Glen Country Mart, with Nicole sporting a beanie, short jean cut-offs, a grey t-shirt and a

pair of classic aviator sunglasses.
