Taylor Lautner Settles RV Lawsuit Dispute

Unwilling to cave into an absurd push-up challenge, Taylor Lautner has ended up reaching an amicable agreement in regards to his lawsuit against an RV dealer.

Stemming from a snafu in which the “Twilight” hunk’s customized trailer wasn’t delivered by the expected date of June 21, Lautner has accepted a charitable donation to shout off legal proceedings against McMahon’s RV.

Talking to Us magazine, Lautner’s attorney Robert Barta said, “McMahon’s RV has agreed to settle its dispute with Taylor Lautner. McMahon’s RV will pay $40,000 to Lautner, which Lautner will donate to The Lollipop Theater Network, a children’s charity with which he has a long-standing relationship.”

Barta continued, “The Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profit organization committed to bringing movies currently in theaters to children confined to hospitals due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses. The Lollipop Theater Network works with hospitals nationwide, including the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.?”

As for claims that Taylor was suing by emotional distress, insiders tell TMZ that that just wasn’t the case - it was about holding McMahon’s accountable for their unacceptable business practices.

“This was never a suit about money. It was to hold someone accountable,” TMZ’s source tells. “Taylor never ordered a customized RV — it was a used RV which needed simple safety-related repairs. Kara DioGuardi Officially Exits “American Idol”

Backing up ongoing rumors surrounding her expected departure, it has been confirmed that Kara DioGuardi’s run on “American Idol” is officially by.

Joining Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres as exiting judges, Kara told, “I felt like I won the lotto when I joined American Idol two years ago, but I feel like now is the best date to leave Idol.”

Making a name for herself thanks to her FOX job, Kara adds, “I am very proud to have been associated with American Idol — it has truly been an amazing experience.”

Joined by a few friends, the “Georgia Rule” babe got the help of a protection staffer as she made her way into The Grove to catch her just-released movie, “Machete”.

Meanwhile, LiLo popped up in headlines earlier today by reports of a hit and run incident claiming that she clipped a baby carriage in her Maserati before speeding away.

Since the initial story broke, TMZ sources tell that the tale was embellished - as it reportedly took place on Wednesday with Lindsay making a legal turn while “ever-so-slightly tapped the stroller — like 1 mile an hour.”

Fans of Selena Gomez are most certainly pumped up that today is finally here - the music video for “A Year Without Rain” premiered after “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” on Friday night (September 3).

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star is doing all kinds of promotion to get her followers ready when her new album hits stores on September 21st.

Today she even announced the track listing for the record. Selena shared the good news on her official Facebook page.

Gomez wrote, “Hey Everyone– I wanted to share with you the official tracks off my upcoming album ‘A Year Without Rain’ as well as the bonus features on the deluxe album. I can’t wait for you all to take in the album.”

A Year Without Rain will include the title track, “Round & Round,” “Rock God,” “Off the Chain,” “Summer’s Not Hot,” “Intuition,” “Spotlight,” “Ghost of You,” “Sick of You,” “and “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow.”

“Going the Distance” Earns Well-Received Reviews

It’s been one of the most anticipated films that month, and it sounds like “Going the Distance” is going straight to the top of the box office.

The film involves Erin (Drew Barrymore) and Garrett (Justin Long) who meet during Erin’s internship in New York City, but once the internship ends and Erin heads back to California the couple is forced to deal with the struggles of a long-distance relationship.

The reviews have been on the positive side for the most part, as Michael O’Sullivan from The Washington Post wrote, “Drew Barrymore and Justin towering compose one cute couple. Whether or not the actors’ on-again-off-again real-life romance helped their performances as lovers frustrated by geography — he’s in Manhattan, she’s in San Francisco — it’s clear they have chemistry. E.T.’s girlfriend and the Mac Guy ooze a laid-back, goofy charm through their pore-less skin. They’re a modern-day Hepburn and Grant.”

Another critic told, “’Going the Distance’ is by no means perfect, but it’s light years beyond the average rom-com, bracingly honest and genuinely funny about the ups and downs of relationships. Barrymore and lengthy, once a real-life couple and now who-knows-what, have a real chemistry that complements their well-written, realistic characters, and even when the movie falls apart around them in the third act, we root for these two crazy kids and their shot at romance. They elevate the story beyond its more flawed moments, but really, ‘Going the Distance’ is pretty special all on its own.”

“I am a little confused as to why folks who ‘hate’ me so much follow my every move and know every last thing about me (whether it’s fact or fiction). It’s funny to me how these so called ‘haters’ can sit behind a computer screen and all of a sudden have courage,” said the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star.

“I most likely have seen many of you in person before and you have never said these things to my face,” she continued. “This is considering you are a coward. You don’t have the guts. You are the ones that when we come face to face can only stutter compliments.”

Turning the negative into a positive, Khloe additionally posted, “Thank you for the ratings you give me on BOTH of my TV shows considering based on the comments you leave on my page, it’s clear that you watch,” she wrote. “So thank you to my haters!
